Noob question

Hey Guys,

Having this issue, I'm installing openmotif-2.2.2-5.src.rpm (rpm -ivh openmotif-2.2.2-5.src.rpm). It looks like it installs ok, however if I try to install another rpm such as gpsd-2.2-1.i386.rpm, it errors out with the failed dependencies libXm.so.3 needed.

Also, when I try to remove opmenmotif it says the package is not installed.

I'm running Fedora Core 2, and am totally confused. Any help would be great. Thanks!

hy choupi,

you can learn rpm  informations about libXm.so.3 by using this command:

rpm -qf libXm.so.3

in the /usr/X11R6/lib directory.
