cygwin?

May one use Open Motif to create an application for MS Windows using Cygwin?

When this question was asked of the Open Group, the paraphrased response was "No, Windows is a proprietary system, even with Cygwin as a virtual OS layer."


This means that you will need to continue using lesstif.


Maybe when they revised their licensed it will be possible...

Thanks for the clear response Mark, the best kind.


Then I believe my best option for Windows+Motif is NuTCracker. Lesstif is just not suitable for an industrial strength setting (well, neither is Windows but that doesn`t seem to matter!).
